| บทคัดย่อ |
The objective of this study was to study the development of mental models on circulatory system, lymphatic
system and immune system of grade 11 students using model- based learning activities. The target group was Grade 11
Students, who were studying in the second semester of 2018 at Srikranuanwittayakom School, Khon Kaen Province,
The Office of Secondary Educational Service Area 25. The research design was the pre-experimental design with one group
pretest – posttest design. The research instruments consisted of 1) mental model mapping. 2) the mental model test
on circulatory system, lymphatic system and immune system. The mental model test was 20 items of two –tier
multiple choice. 3) 9 lesson plans of 7 major concepts on circulatory system, lymphatic system and immune system according to Model- Based Learning Activities in 12 periods of the lesson. The students mental model representation
and learning activities. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, average score, and standard deviation.
The results of this study showed that:
1) The mental model of students were differences between pre-test and post-test with mean score of 31.58
and 50.08 was significantly higher than their pre-test (p0.05).
2) After implementing the model- based learning activities, students with the level of the mental model
were flawed mental models (FM) 1 students (2.50%), Partial correct with flawed mental models (FM & P) 3 students
(7.50 %), Partial correct mental models (PM) 12 students (30.00 %), Correct mental models (CM) 24 students (60.00 %)
and there were 24 students (60.00 %) who have developed of mental models on circulatory system, lymphatic system
and immune system |
