| บทคัดย่อ |
This paper identifies main inputs of readiness process of making qualified loans in Canadia Bank Lao Ltd.
Face-to-face in-depth interview was conducted with key informants including ten credit professionals and other five prospective customers. To find out the objective stated earlier, eight interview questions were asked.
Most of the key informants, expressed that loan officer, borrower and the stability of borrower’s source of income were the main inputs of readiness process of making qualified loans in Canadia Bank Lao Ltd.
This paper identifies the readiness process of making qualified loans in Canadia Bank Lao Ltd. which is the gap between the Bank–lender and its borrowers in lending activities. When its borrowers are more qualified with readiness, his/her loan application is more likely approved. Hence, the Bank also can increase its loan portfolio with minimal credit risk and more profitable manner accordingly. Furthermore, it also can useful for the Bank’s prospective borrowers somehow because nowadays the borrower seems difficult to access for finance while many banks cannot do its best to meeting annual loans target.
The originality of the paper relies in experience shared by the key informants in or der to examine the inputs of readiness process of making healthy loan portfolio in Canadia Bank Lao Ltd.
