     Abstract This research aims to broaden our understanding of opinion of new generation labours in the Northeast of Thailand about migrating to working aboard. The specific research objectives include investigating the factor of decision making of new semi-skill Thai labours to migrating for work oversea, and to study incentive and expectation of migration in view of new generation labours. This research is survey research. The samples are 500 pre-employment trainees of the Institute and Center of Skill Development in 5 provinces of the Northeast region, who trained during October 2007 – April 2008. Systematic sampling is use to selected the sample of this research. Data is gathering by the use of questionnaire. Statistical data method uses for data analysis are; descriptive statistics include: frequency, percentage, means, standard deviation, and inferential statistics include: Chi-squares Pearson’s and logistic regression. Data analyze by the computer software. The results indicated that 74.6 % of sample decides to migrate for work oversea and most of them want to migrate to South Korea. The logistics regression analysis showed that the factors of decision to migrating include: education, current resident, domicile, occupation of family, number of family member, number of wage earners in the family, and cousin was work aboard. Most incentive of migration is higher wage than work in Thailand. Most expectation of migration is get the new experience and knowledge.
