Abstract The subfamily Lamiinae is the largest group in family Cerambycidae. The larvae are borer in wood or shrub. Several species are important pest of economically plant such as mango and durian. The phylogenetic analysis was investigated using 50 external morphological characters. Phylogenetic tree was constructed based on parsimony method and indicated that the monophyly of the subfamily and four tribe groups are inferred based on morphological characters of 17 tribe ingroup and two outgroup tribes. The monophyly was supported by mostly full synapomorphies and divided into four tribes groups. However, some tribe groups are paraphyletic in this study and they still need additional steps to become monophyletics.
