Abstract
Since technology is one of the most significant tools of our era, modern research projects have begun to examine how certain technologies influence English language learners. The present study aimed to examine the effectiveness of using constructivism based activities to teach spelling through LINE application on Mathayomsuksa 5 students from Thatphanom school, Nakhon Phanom province. This study also observed the students’ opinions toward using constructivism based activities to teach spelling through LINE application. Thirty-four high school students participated in the study. The instruments consisted of a spelling T-test, a survey questionnaire, and a semi-structured interview. The outcomes indicated that students increase their spelling English skills. Also, they have good attitudes toward using constructivism based activities to teach spelling through line application. Suggestions for future researchers, similar methods or material design can be used in order to measure improvement in spelling or teaching spelling. Furthermore, it can be used on different fields of study.
